Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980 and is a singer/actress from the USA. She is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native born and raised by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). Kristen was born in the town of Huntington Woods, Michigan and was raised by an Polish mother and father that has a mix of German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen developed a talent in the performing arts from an early age on stage. Her role was as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell's mom introduced her to an agent prior to her turning thirteen, and she got her first role for television and newspaper commercials. Bell also began taking private acting classes at the age of 13. Bell appeared on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School where she participated in the music as well as drama. She was the star as Dorothy in her high school's performance of The Wizard of Oz. Bell then moved in New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She studied musical theater there. Bell left studying in the year 2001 and assumed the role of Becky the character of Tom Sawyer. Her first film credit with Pootie Tang during 2001. The scene however it was cut and Bell's only role is the credits at the end. Bell was in the film with Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson and in The Crucible Broadway show The Crucible in 2002.
