Awkwafina

Awkwafina is an American performer and actress, started by releasing witty raps which addressed sexuality and racial identification. After which she moved to Hollywood the singer and actress released several rap tracks. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her initial musical encounter. She performed on the trumpet. She also received classical and jazz training later becoming a hip-hop teenager. While in college, she remained focused on her studies, majoring in women's and journalism. While spending a few days during which she lived in Beijing, she also studied Mandarin. When she graduated, she started to devote her time to music. The track she released in 2012 My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success across the Internet and was later released on her debut album Yellow Ranger in 2014. The album featured other sensational hits such as body-positive Queef and winking hometown tour NYC Bitche$. The latter was associated with Awkwafina's NYC, a 2015 travel guide. The singer decided to pursue acting careers after completing her first two ventures as a musician and author. Alongside early series such as Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in film projects like Neighbors to Storks. In 2018, she scored breakthrough performances in a variety of notable films, including Dude Ocean's 8 as well as Crazy Rich Asians. Her EP came out,"At Fina We Trust in June of that year.
