Awkwafina
Awkwafina was an American actor and performer who started her career through innovative raps which addressed gender and ethnic identities from a a boldly comic perspective. She then expanded to Hollywood. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrant parents in Forest Hills Queens her first experience with music came in the form of the trumpet. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop studies began when she was a teenager. Following a focus on education, she graduated with a degree in journalism in the college as well as a women's studies degree. It wasn't until after graduating that she turned her attention towards music. The track My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity via the Internet in the year 2012. It eventually made it in her first album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. Other viral hits included the Queef track, and the witty NYC Bitchethe hometown tour for $. The third track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide published in 2015. This was an additional idea. After having a great career as a performer She decided to take on the role of an actor. In addition to early series, such Girl Code and Tawk - she was in films Neighbors 2 Storks & Bad Rap. In 2018 she was able to land her first major role in a number of high-profile films such as Dude Ocean's Eight and Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she debuted her EP "In Fina We Trust".
