Awkwafina
Awkwafina the American actor and singer, began by releasing witty raps which addressed the racial and sexual identities of people. In the years before she stepped into Hollywood the singer and actress released an album of rap songs. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her initial musical experience. She performed on the trumpet. Jazz, classical and hip-hop education began when she was a teenager. While in college, she took classes in writing and women's studies. In addition, she spent an hour studying Mandarin during her time in Beijing. After graduating, it wasn't until that she shifted her focus on music. Following her viral success through the Internet Her track My Vag was a reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually made its way onto the album she released, Yellow Ranger. Some other hits that went viral included Queef song, as well as the winking NYC Bitchethe hometown tour for $. This latter song was directly linked to Awkwafina's NYC, a 2015 travel guide. After she established herself as a performer and author who wrote books, she chose to assume the character of an actor. Along with early series like Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in films like Neighbors in Storks. In the year 2018, she was offered a number of notable roles that were a breakthrough, like Dude Ocean's 8, or Crazy Rich Asians. Her EP came out, In Fina We Trust in June of that year.
