Canadian actress. Matchett is a native of Spalding, Saskatchewan. Her career began acting as an actress following her move to Ontario. The late nineties were when Matchett began her acting career in Canadian television. After that, she relocated to United States where she starred in The Secrets of Nero Wolfe Invasion: 24 Hours at Studio 60 and Ambulance Earth. It was the Last Conflict. The actress won the Gemini Award in 2001 for her character in the Canadian television show The Department of Wet Cases. The character she played was the ex-wife to one of the main characters of Impact for a number of seasons. In the TV series Covert Operations, she plays the role of Joan Campbell.
